Knit.

I wanted to direct you all to a very cool Etsy store that belongs to a PostGradChic reader, Aimee! She has her own blog here, but what you guys probably don't know is that she is a very talented jewelry designer. What I like best about her pieces is that, not only are they made with silver, but they are influenced by everyday pieces, like buttons and zippers. Everyone should go check out her Etsy shop, here, and until July 31st, 2012, all PostGradChic readers get 10% off by entering the code 'POSTGRAD'. What are you waiting for?!?!

Oh and happy FRIDAY!

Pizetta 211

Last night I had the pleasure of finally trying out a local gourmet pizza restaurant that just opened, Pizetta 211. This place is known for updating the menu on a weekly basis, basing it's pie concoctions on what's fresh at the local market. I can just say, that while I love every gourmet pizza place in town (I've been to all of them), Pizetta 211 is my favorite. Everything tastes homemade and crazy fresh! The best part? You can put a farm fresh egg on any pizza! Mmmm.

Staple

Here are a few pictures of an outfit I wore a few weekends ago, while running errands. Chambray shirts are truly proving to be a Summer staple, because of their throw on and go tendencies, and it's looking like I need to invest in one or two more.

Mulberry Fall/Winter 2012-2013

Mulberry's Fall/Winter campaign looks straight out of my favorite children's story growing up, "Where the Wild Things Are". Doesn't hurt that the pieces featured are gorgeous, and Lindsey Wixon is as cute as a button! I love the direction; it's so fun and young at heart, while maintaing the sophistication Mulberry represents.

Floral on Floral

Happy Monday! This week is going to be crazy hectic for me, I'm not looking forward to it :-/

Tried to go for some floral on floral print mixing in this outfit. The pants are almost like a neutral, so I thought it would be fun to go for more busy print up top. I kept everything in the neutral color family to help from having things clash, and I think the pairing worked out quite well. How about you?

Trend-Spotting: Ankle Socks

Mulberry Spring 2012

I know, I know... ankle socks were kinda cute for Fall, but still hard to fully pull off. I for one am a huge fan of ankle socks peeking out of booties for Fall, but I also think this is a cute look that could be worn in the warmer months. Like seen above, try pairing neutral ankle socks with sky high open toed sandals, a cute printed mini skirt and a simple tank tucked in. It can go from day to night, and will have you stand out from the rest, in a good way ;)

One Shirt, Three Ways: Part III

This is the last time you'll see this blouse for a while, I PROMISE, but I had to show you part III !!!
After a lovely Saturday spent in the sun, I decided to keep the top, and dress up my bottom half for a dinner, movie, and drinks double date! A purple pencil skirt was the perfect pop of color, and a vintage collar necklace plus a sleek clutch round out the look. Don't forget the heels!
So how do you guys feel about the three looks? Does it prove that peplums are versatile, and a lot of fun to wear?

One Shirt, Three Ways: Part II

The second look I went for with this amazing peplum blouse was a casual running errands on a Saturday look. Throwing on a pair of great fitting black skinny jeans, and some cute walkable flats, always looks like a great ensemble, though you put in little effort. I ran around town, got brunch, and went to the park all while wearing this outfit.

Blouse: Anthropologie. Jeans: Gap. Flats: Halogen (similar or similar). Sunglasses: Ray Ban. Bag: H&M.
